CEO & Founder at Rigsel Real Estate
I was born and raised in Bhutan, but my journey has been marked by hardship and relentless perseverance. Losing both my parents at a young age left me navigating life without guidance, often feeling lost and looked down upon by society. I moved between schools, battling rejection and isolation. To cope, I fell into destructive habits, including alcohol and drug addiction, leading to frequent run-ins with the police.
Despite these setbacks, I took on any job I could find to survive, including long hours as a driver and working tirelessly at the Gewog Administration. Each step was a struggle, but slowly, I managed to pull myself out of the darkness and focus on rebuilding my life.
Through determination and resilience, I founded Rigsel Real Estate, which has now grown into one of Bhutan’s leading real estate companies. My journey from the bottom to the top taught me valuable lessons in business, leadership, and personal strength. Even with these accomplishments, the scars of my past still linger, reminding me of the challenges I had to overcome to reach where I am today.
